Hello there,

I recently purchased a "Working" Hughes SRS AK-100 which i am super excited about. When Routing the physical connections, I’m assuming you are using dual 1/4 to RCA going into the SRS and then RCA to dual 1/4 on the out into a DI to Balance the signal?

How are you routing the physical connections?

I would appreciate any help!

I was just listening to your interview on Pensado's Place and you had expressed how much you love mixing albums but 99% of what you do now is singles or one offs. Hearing you say that gave me the crazy thought of googling your email and it led me here to this lovely little chat board you have. I'm currently writing/recording my debut album in the woods of Wisconsin and I've wanted you to be the one to mix it from day one. I considered having my management/label reach out to you, but I'm such a big fan I thought I'd do it personally. Forgive me if this is the worst way to reach out but you seem like the kind of guy who would appreciate the ambition. Anyway, you're the man and thanks for making so many of my favorite albums sound magical.

I've been using an AMBEO headset (collaboration between Sennheiser and Apogee) with my iPhone via lightning for several years - which is pretty cool. Great for immediate off the cuf recording with good quality. Wondering what other binaural low-profile recording devices you may like and have played with? Thanks much.

Hey, Tchad/everyone! When you were using the SRS and sending stuff through it did you ever have latency issues? If not, do you have any tips how to manage latency/delay compensation. I'm trying to use some compressors for parallel processing but it's a bit phasey cuz of the latency.

I wonder if you use the function HEAT from avid .. I know you use a lot if tape emulation so i'm asking if you use "Heat" ..
