Hi everyone, Just had this idea of giving and getting some suggestions for good reads. Mixing / music related and also not music related. I've really enjoyed Steven Pressfield's "War of art" and "Turning pro", some works on how to overcome the resistance that blocks the way towards your best creative self. I've found them inspiring. "Steal like an artist" by Austin Kleon is also an interesting small book about not limiting creativity. Last year I read a book called "The top 5 regrets of the dying" by Bronnie Ware, a nurse who was taking care of people nearing death. This is a "must read" from this list.. A productivity oriented favourite is "The one thing" by Garry Keller (the philosophy of “What's the one thing I can do, such that by doing it everything else is easier or unnecessary?”). And pretty much anything by Robin Sharma (latest I enjoyed is called "The 5 a.m club"). I'm waiting for your suggestions!
